This beachfront holiday park features a children’s play area, a hot tub, a games room, a convenience store and an internet kiosk. We had a wonderful stay and we were upgraded to the delux cabins which was an added bonus. The camp ground was family friendly, great location beside the beach and walks, and had great facilities. The kids liked the bouncing pillow and go carts!

The facilities were really nice here! We stayed in the Standard Cabin and it was really nice, very cute and clean. The mini fridge in the room was great. We also loved the heated mattress toppers for the colder night. The walk to the beach was very scenic and the proximity to the beach was very nice. Also, it was very convenient to have the restaurant on the property, and the food was very good!

The location up on Coromandel Peninsula is simply beautiful. We walked across the road to the rocky beach for sunset each evening, where you could hear a pin drop, very peaceful! This is a lodge that caters to campers as well as folks renting kitchenette rooms, like us. People come here for the fishing, and I heard it was very good. If we had stayed another day, it would have been fun to go out on a charter boat for a day of fishing. We went on excursions each day, one was to hike the Coromandel Coastal Walkway, just fantastic. There is no shortage of fun things to see and do here. You do have to bring groceries with you, as there is no restaurant nearby.

You can walk to Cathedral Cove from Hahei Beach Resort, follow the beach and connect to the Cathedral Cove walkway (the walk takes about 1 hour each way). fabulous location and quiet in the studios and friendly knowledgeable staff

Located opposite Estuary Beach, Harbourside Holiday Park offers an outdoor seasonal swimming pool, a children's playground and a BBQ area with picnic tables. Location, room was spacious for two, clean all round

Tasman Holiday Parks – Beachaven is a friendly holiday park set on four acres right by Waihi Beach. Explore the 9km long stretch of white sands, stunning views, great surf and fishing. We found the property to be a great layout and safe especially for our kids. The cabins were clean and not outdated at all. Staff are so friendly and helpful! Location was handy to the beach and not far from the main town. This is the first time we visited Waihi Beach and hopefully it won’t be the last! We loved our time away there even with the rain!
